London, the capital of England is a 21st-century city with history stretching back to Roman times. A few iconic attractions; Houses of Parliament, ‘Big Ben’ clock tower, Tower Bridge and London Bridge acrossing Thames River, the London Eye observation wheel provides panoramic views of the South Bank.
There are literally 5 airports within London, that justify how busy is this city; London City, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Luton and London Stansted. We flew from Edinburgh, Scotland and landed in London Standsted.
Did read up that we could take an Airport-City Transfer to enter the city, rather than taking Cab or Metro. Public transport is costly though, even though Oyster card is suggested to go on public transport.

A few routes to varies part of London City. We will be taking A8 to Whitechapel, where our accommodation located. |
After settling down our accommodation in SHQ Apartment, we headed out on the street via Uber. After calculating metro fare for 3 of us, it will be almost the same by taking Uber. Slightly expensive by GBP 2-4, but at least we do not need to walk and look for Metro stations...
