Venice, formed by a group of more than 100 small islands that are separated by canals and linked by bridges. There are almost 400 bridges that link all the islands into one. A place which is acknowledge as a City of Romance and also a Floating Masterpiece.
Most people enter Venice via plane, and stop at Treviso Airport or Marco Polo Airport. We enter Venice via High Speed Rail from Milano Centrale Railway Station to Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia, which takes around 2 hours. Stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia is the beginning of the city, where you can take the ferry or Gondolas from Ferrovia Ferry Terminal to any other parts of Venice.
You can find Ferry Terminal and Gondolas service immediately after you stepped out of the train station, you will not miss it. Ferry is the most economical choice, which cost around 5 EUR per person. However the feel will be like any other ferry in any other part of the world, nothing special. Gondolas is the unique and it is the icon of Venice. Most of the people will give it a try even though of the cost. The cost that will let you feel that they are going to rip you off; between 80 EUR to 100 EUR per Gondolas with maximum 6 passengers. WOW!!!
Don't expect taxi or Uber around, the only wheeled vehicle in Venice is bicycle.
Alternative, on-foot will be possible too, and this is our choice of transport in Venice. Bridges after bridges, beautiful canal view.
Palazzo Labia - Salone del Tiepolo
This is the first elegant building on our path. Built in 17th - 18th century, and is one of the last great palazzi of Venice.
